These sessions involve deep relaxation and visualisation in order to help you picture who you want to be. It’s really not like we see in the media. You don’t lose control. Rather you learn how to achieve a deep state of relaxation. Then when you are completely relaxed you are able to visualise how you want things to be, how you want to be and how you might achieve this.
The first part of the session is going through a process to put you into the state of relaxation. Then there is a “deepener” where you are helped to imagine a favourite place. This might be a beach with the sound of the sea, a forest with the sounds of the leaves and the breeze or a beautiful garden with the sounds of birds singing.
When you are in this place the seeds of new positive thoughts are sown. Your mind is ready to receive these positive thoughts.
Confidence and self esteem
Hyphotherapy can certainly help with confidence and self esteem. Each “screed” is written especially for each client and their particular situation. You will be able to visualise yourself as a new and confident person. Your self worth will be enhanced. Thus your self esteem will be increased as you see yourself in a new light.
